For this photo I wanted to shoot directly into the Sun to try and create a natural flare and a silhouette effect with the oncoming woman. The light created havoc with the exposure readings on my EOS M even though I placed myself so that the setting Sun would be directly behind the tree.
To ensure a nice exposure (and a deep depth of field), I stopped down to f/22. and even with this light I had to put the ISO to 800 and exposure compensation at 2.67 (no comments please, I was going round in exposure compensation circles). Shutter was set at 1/100.
